Well as the original founder of this website I though I should actually take a moment to share with the world as to why I started this website in the first place.

I started this websites after many others I went to seemed like a dictatorship, more or less talk about what the forum administrator and their moderators wanted you to talk about or your out - if you didn't agree with someone's point of view you were banned.

And I invisioned this place to be one where those interested in these fields would be able to post any potential evidence they may be able to find and have others provide feedback on without having the fear that they would be banned for expressing their opinions.

I became interested in the entire Paranormal, Supernatural and mysterious sides of the world we live in when I was eleven.

I would like to point out that I am not claiming the following story as being one about the paranormal but it got me thinking and curious in the field, and would like to explain that this is the first time EVER I have spoken about my experience to anyone.

I was asleep in my bedroom when I was awoken by a sudden thud, I opened my eyes and I couldn't see anything.

As I was about to go back to sleep this bright light appeared in my room, and it formed into the figure of my Grand mother - she sat on my bed and told me she loved me and would look down on me - and then as quickly as she appeared she had vanished.

What really freaked the crap outta me and got me interested in this stuff was the fact that my Grandmother was still alive - or so I thought until fifteen minutes later when the phone downstairs rang and mum came to wake me up to tell me that my grand mother had passed away.

The ambulance people had received an emergency call about a lady complaining of chest pains however on their arrival, just ten minutes earlier, my grand mother was found not breathing and despite attempts of CPR they could not revive her.

That is my story, I am not claiming it is paranormal however it is what got me interested in this field and as i have said this is the first time I have ever shared the story with anyone.

I had something somewhat similar, but it wasn't about a death.

I was eight years old and I had never seen my Grandfather from my Mother's side in person. My Grandparents were in Cuba with no real hope to get out and come to the States.

Well, one morning I woke up and saw what seemed to be a tall and slender man near the door to my room towards the foot of my bed. I was not too scared, but was spooked enough to tell my Mom about what had happened. After describing the 'vision' to my Mother, she said that it was her Father that I was describing. A day or two later, we received a call from Cuba. My Grandparents were granted the permission to leave Cuba and come to the States!

So, my Mother told me that I saw my Grandfather's spirit letting us know that they were on their way.
