*Please note: This topic may bring up the discussion of evolution and creation within it's replies, I as the Original Poster may even reference to either evolution and creation in my opening post on this topic. I would like to take a moment to remind members of our forum guidelines, and remind you that no personal attacks, or attacks of faith will be tolerated.

While we do not mind discussions on faith, or your lack of belief overall we are all humans (maybe even aliens) and as such deserve our right to freedom of speech, and to share our thoughts. In regards to this discussion there is no need to get personal in regards to ones beliefs.

So scientists believe they have found a new dinosaur which got me looking around the internet for Dinosaur Conspiracies - and there are a couple that I thought could be interesting discussion points on The Mystery District.

The Dinosaur Evolution Conspiracy
For a long time believers of Evolution have used the fact that dinosaurs are being found after hundreds of millions of years as proof that the "creation" belief is fake.

However "Creation" believers are under the following two beliefs that the Dinosaurs are being used as direct "evidence" to deliberately contradict the "Creation" beliefs.

Fake Time Frames:-
Scientists, if doing their job properly, are meant to look into every scientific experiment with an open mind, however some claim that when it comes to dinosaurs because of the beliefs of Evolution theorists, some scientists refuse to date a dinosaur fossil anything less than 50million years.

Scientists rebute this by saying they can tell by the amount of dirt surrounding the fossil, and what they "believe" the weather has been like for 50 million years they are able to determine the exact year.

However some question as to how scientists can be sure on what the weather was like 50 million years ago.

Evolution and Creation co-exist:-
Another thing that made me think, and made me think could be an interesting discussion, is the beliefs that Evolution and Creation in some way/shape or form could co-exist.

The website I found this on theorises that Scientists and Evolution believers claim that because Dinosaurs are found to be 50 million+ years ago that Creation could not exist - however in The Holy Bible it never once mentions a certain time frame in which the creator ("God") actually "created" the earth.

Who can say that "God" did not create the earth 500 million years ago? And that Dinosaurs were not part of his original creation? Who is to say that Adam and Eve were not infact the first Cavemen on the earth?

In addition to this another website claims that the "seven days" the Holy Bible talks about where he created the universe does not mean it took the "creator" seven days to create everything.

Remembering all that time ago whether it was 200+ million years ago, or 5000 years ago the calendar we work by in today's standard did not exist, this website claims that there is no proof that the seven days to create the universe was not infact seven - twenty four hour days - as we know the days.

Infact who is to say that the "seven" days were not, back in the time "God" was creating the universe, infact 70 years on todays calendar, or 70 million years on todays calendar - therefore allowing the "Evolution" and "Creation" theories to co-exist.

So I can see both points of the arguement, and can understand what is trying to be said that everyone is looking at the bible in todays context however in order to argue this you have to think back a couple million years ago to see if this is at all possible.
