So, this whole 2012 thing is getting more and more frantic. Can anyone supply me with good solid proof that this end of the world thing will really and truly happen? Much appreciated if you can!

I am hearing stories that Aliens would be involved and all this other weird stuff so if anyone has any idea, proof etc feel free to post.

2012! One of my other favorite things.

You can't really prove the world is going to end until it does. And at that time, we'll all be dead, so we won't know that it has ended anyway.

My partner only mentioned this to me the other night. I dont really know ANYTHING about it so I dont really have any say on it, but Im interested to be informed, so Ill be keeping a close eye on this topic.

Yeah I attempted to start the first Facebook Religious Sect but no one joined - I got blasted by all these people that believed in God abusing me, and stuff even when I said I was a prophet sent to them... how the hell can people start religious mass suicide cults if people on facebook don't join?!?

haha, once the movie 2012 comes out, everyone will freak out, me, i'm either going to sleep in of have sex all day, or both........ that would be an amazing way to go. and then, if the world doesn't end, it would have been a great day.

i'm not worried about it really. who says they just didn't get tired and stop making a damn calender, if someone told me to make a calender, for a few billion years, i'd probably kill myself or die in the process. maybe the calender maker died.

So finally getting back to this discussion I have finally looked into the whole end of the world 2012 thing and have even gone and checked out the movie.

While I still do not believe that the world is going to end you have to be fair and honest and say some of the things happening in the world is quite scary.

- Tsunami
Over the past 24 months we have seen a number of tsunami hit coastal areas that have devestated the community/region and killed thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people.

- Earthquakes
Just in the last handful of months we have seen a number of earthquakes devastate regions such as Hati and Chile where thousands of people have lost their lives and brought the region to their knees.

- Volcanic Activity
At this current time flights in and out of Europe are grounded after a number of Volcanic eruptions in Iceland effectively bringing the world to a stand still with no carrier attempting or willing to let their planes take to the skies.

In addition to this scientists in New Zealand have confirmed Mount Ruapehu a semi-active volcano in the countries north island is rumbling and their predictions are that it is on the verge of once again erupt to see ash and lava blown into the skies over the land of the long white cloud.

- Meteors
Television news reports recently have been showing three seperate meteor's passing so close to the earths atmosphere that they can be seen with the naked eye.

All of the above are listed as what will be happening when the world comes to an end in 2012 - so it makes you think a little bit.
